About · A letter

Dear small
business
owner,

Spring '26 Austin · Hilo

The internet is about to get a lot louder. Every shop, every salon, every food truck will soon have a website that looks like every other website. The new tools are very good at competent. They are not so good at knowing when a thing feels right.

That's where I come in. Taste and Feel is a small studio — one person, mine — that makes web presences for small businesses who want the work to look like them. Not like a template. Not like the chain down the road.

I build websites in seven days. I tune local SEO so you show up in your zip code. I tend to your Google profile like it's a garden. And I charge a fair price, on purpose, so the kind of business I love to work with can actually afford to work with me.

" If intelligence is everywhere, taste is the only edge left. "

I grew up between Texas pickup trucks and Hawaiian afternoons — country and tropical, hot sauce and shave ice. That contradiction is the studio's tone. Warm. Confident. Unrushed, even when I ship in a week.

The first site I built under this banner was for my mom — a fused-glass artist in central Texas. She told me "that's mine" the first time she saw it. That's the bar. Every site I make should make someone say their version of that.

If that sounds like the kind of partner you've been hoping for, write to me. I answer every note.

How the studio runs
01
Small on purpose

One studio, one point of contact. You always know who is doing the work — because it's me.

02
Modern tooling, quietly

I use the best new tools in service of the craft. The output is human-curated. The taste is the part I won't outsource.

03
Fair, transparent prices

Posted publicly. No retainer traps. No surprise invoices at month-end.
